Conversation Intelligence

    Chorus Review

Mid-market conversation intelligence platform owned by ZoomInfo — call recording, coaching, and deal review with tight integration to the ZoomInfo Sales OS ecosystem.

    Chorus at a glance

Mid-market sales teams (10-30 AEs) already using ZoomInfo
Sales orgs that need conversation intelligence without Gong's enterprise pricing
Teams whose ops function can bundle Chorus into a broader ZoomInfo deal
Companies where forecast accuracy matters but doesn't require Gong's depth

    The RevenueHoop take on Chorus

Chorus is Gong's mid-market alternative, now owned by ZoomInfo and increasingly bundled into the ZoomInfo Sales OS ecosystem. Same core capabilities (call recording, transcript, coaching), meaningfully lower price than Gong, and unique value when your team already runs on ZoomInfo. Choose Chorus if you're a ZoomInfo customer and want conversation intelligence bundled; choose Gong if you're enterprise and Chorus's mid-market ceiling shows up.

    Best for

    • Mid-market sales teams (10-30 AEs) already using ZoomInfo
    • Sales orgs that need conversation intelligence without Gong's enterprise pricing
    • Teams whose ops function can bundle Chorus into a broader ZoomInfo deal
    • Companies where forecast accuracy matters but doesn't require Gong's depth
    • Any team where "one contract with ZoomInfo covering data + calls" is a real advantage
    03

    When to use it

Use Chorus when you're already on ZoomInfo and want to bundle conversation intelligence into the same vendor relationship. The integration between Chorus and ZoomInfo Sales OS is genuinely deeper than any cross-vendor pairing.

Chorus also earns its place for mid-market teams that need real coaching + forecast intelligence but can't justify Gong's enterprise price tag.

    04

    When NOT to use it

Skip Chorus if you're not on ZoomInfo — the bundled value disappears, and you'd get better value from Gong at enterprise scale or Granola/Fathom at smaller scale.

For teams under 10 AEs, Chorus is overkill; Fathom's free tier covers most of what small teams actually use.

    Pros and cons

    Pros

    • Meaningfully cheaper than Gong at similar mid-market feature set
    • Tight ZoomInfo Sales OS integration (unique in the category)
    • Solid transcription quality and coaching features
    • Native Salesforce and HubSpot integrations
    • Reliable at production scale
    • Bundled pricing available if you're a ZoomInfo customer

    Cons

    • Value proposition depends heavily on ZoomInfo customer status
    • Feature velocity trails Gong since the ZoomInfo acquisition
    • Enterprise features (forecast intelligence depth) trail Gong
    • Standalone pricing less compelling than bundled
    • UI has been dated for a few years

    The RevenueHoop opinion

Chorus is the tool we recommend when a client is already deep in ZoomInfo and the "one vendor for data + calls" story matters. Off ZoomInfo, the value proposition weakens — Gong is better at enterprise scale and Granola/Fathom are better at smaller scale. The ZoomInfo acquisition made Chorus a niche play rather than the primary Gong alternative it used to be. Not a bad tool; a narrower one.
